Plextor 716A supported by Microstudio 2.610 or Hoster 3.006 and higher

Most likely this drive will work, but we don't yet have drivers for this drive.

We should have the drivers for this drive in the next release of Microstudio.

Thanks for the info Bryan. I hate it could posibly be march before i can get the driver, Hopefuly it will come today. Thanks again for the reply.

Wonderful, I just bought a Plextor 716A today, and just purchased this program to go with it. I havn't been able to even open up the program after installed. says it is an invalid path.

I too just upgraded to Hoster3.06 that supports the 716A. I needed micostudio to fully utilize Hoster, so I just bought Microstudio2.609. Help Guys!!!!!

Microstudio 2.610 will support this when it is released. This will probably be released 2/15/05. We have not yet updated Microstudio to support this drive, but it will be in the next few weeks.

I'm looking forward to it. I have been using the MTU products for a couple of years and have had a lot of fun and success. I am just getting Hoster set up on my new computer and have a lot of multisession disks. Hoster is an excellent tool and I look forward to using it at shows! Have a lot of hours of importing before that though.

I too am waiting for support for my Plextor 716A. How will we know when this upgrade is available?
