The latest ATI driver is not 11/30/04.

The very first screen at ATI.COM show the latest as 4.12, and, if you click on 4.12, it takes you to the download page where, further down the page, states that this DRIVER is as of 12/13/04.

It, further, states, in the NOTES area, that this 4.12 Driver is specifically for SP2.

So, if you can get into safe mode, uninstall the current ATI driver and reboot.

New hardware should be found upon reboot and a generic Video Driver should be installed by Windows.

Then, download the 4.12 (SP2) Driver and try it.

I know that it says that, but if you go in and look at the driver details, it is 11/30/04. I just downloaded the file and installed it again.

Also, it looks like I have stuff close to being workable again, but my preview display graphics resolution is horrible (pixels are huge). Can hardly read the words. The rest of my PC, and the other stuff in Hoster displays fine.

I upgraded the video driver for my Radeon 9200 to the latest version. Are there some settings that I should tweak to optimize the performance?

Go to the Display settings, Right click on the Desktop, where there are no icons, then Left click Properties. Left click the Settings Tab. Left click The monitor 2, then change the Resolution on this to 1024x768, then set the colors to 32 bit. Then click Apply and your graphics on the TV should look much better, as they did when I shipped it to you.

I did install anti-virus and some spy bot software. I didn't have a virus on my computer, so I'm not sure exactly what happened. But, I did remove hoster and reinstall, along with another batch of updates, and it seems to be closer.

One thing I didn't understand, was when someone suggested to another person to reinstall the Hoster Databse file (they were getting a CDao exception), and they mentioned to download it. How do I do that, and where do I download it from? I don't ever remember downloading it in the first place. I ran the program file to install, and that's it. It was made clear that the database file and the program file were 2 different things.

Actually, its the computer monitor (host display - only in the little lyrics window) where the display is bad. Everything else looks fine. The display resolution for the TV is already set at 1024x768, and 32bit color.

So, what you are saying, is that when I installed the new drivers for the video, the settings for the card are the way they are supposed to be by default?

If so, that's cool. I would have guess that some tweaking needed to be done to some anti-aliasing thing or something.

I'll double check it again when I get home. I must have something set differently than it was before.

They are wrong. The Database is part of the Hoster Installation Program. There is no separate database to download.
