Unhappy KJ needs help

I have always wanted to copy my CD+G so as not to mess up originals. My wife and I host as KJ"S and I have been told by HP my PC won't do it and there is no software to make it do it. I have a: hp pavilion 515n If there is something that would help me please advise. Thank you

Re: KJ needs help

MusicPreacher,

Your Hp computer will work just fine for copying CDG discs. However, you will need to purchase a CDG certified burner in order to do this along with our Microstudio software.

Altogether you would be looking at $149 for an internal drive, or $229 for an external that plugs in via USB ports, and our $40 Microstudio software (shipping will run between $14-16). And that is your total cost.

Plug all of this into your system and voila, you are ready to start backing up your karaoke CDG discs!

Feel free to call me on x201. Full phone number is listed on our homepage.

Regards,

Doug Cox

Talking Re: KJ needs help

Thank you for your responce. I have a dvd burner and a writer in my PC and it will not work on just them Lord knows I've tried, but and external burner and software would be great. And if I upgrade like I do every 2 years and one of my 8 kids get the old one I will still have my burner and software for the new one.Once again thanks I will be getting that ASAP.

Hi ,as they have said ,it will work on your pc but you need a cdg burner the best 1 would be a PLEXTOR burner. [snip]

thanks nath.

p.s. Think about getting yourself a laptop and buying MTU's "HOSTER" software to run from laptop. When buying a laptop you might think about getting one with a Radeon graphics card in it as they give you dual displays.

Re: KJ needs help

MusicPreacher,

CDRWIN is a piece of crap compared to Microstudio or KHP. Been there and done that. Don't take my word for it. Read the forums.

Cd Clone is no longer being marketed.

Ok gonna go read the posts on cdrwin cause i have no problems whatsoever with it ,seems to work perfectly for me. I suppose it really a case of each to there own. All that being said i have never tried mtu's product as i have not found the need to. I'm gonna go have a look though.

thanks nath.

Re: KJ needs help

I moved this thread to Microstudio Help as it doesn't belong under Karaoke Pro Workstation.

Re: KJ needs help

MTU offers 3 computer models that are engineered specifically for running professional Karaoke Shows.

Laptop

Rack Mount

Portable PC

If you want one vendor support, buy from MTU. If you enjoy building your own computer, go for it... but please don't expect MTU to solve your problems if you buy elsewhere.
