ATI Radion 7500 and up all work wonderfully. Make sure it is made by and not powered by ATI! This is impotant.

The most cost effective one right now is a ATI Radeon 9200 with 128mb of Video Memory.

Question the ATI RADEON 9200 Video Card is dirrect X 8.1, I thought you said it had to support dirrect X 9.0?

Correction:

The ATI card should be MADE BY ATI, not POWERED BY ATI as mentioned in a post above.

Powered models are not manufactured by ATI, but use some ATI components, and have been known to be troublesom at times.

Regarding the version of Direct X, I believe the 8.1 is the minimum for the 9200 video card to perform on, but it should run on any Direct X version of 8.1 or higher.
As each new Direct X version has come out, I've upgraded it and my older Radeon 7500 works just fine.

On the ATI Retail box, that we purchase state "Microsoft DrectX 9.0 Compatible" on the very front of the Box. This is why we use this card and it works great. This is known for the ATI Retail Card also, so if you get a Generic card, it may not work. We only recommend the Built By ATI Radeon 9200 Retail Boxed Cards.
