Red face Re: beginning of song is missing

Guys,

Thanks for taking time to help! I don't know how to add "silence" at the end or begining of a .wav file. I'm sure I could do it with a little direction. My version of Microstudio is 2.315 I believe. This is my first experience in using the forums, but I have had the program for about 2 years.

KARAOKECLUB:

If that is in fact the problem, you would need some audio editing software.
I'm sure if you asked ten different people which to get, you'd get ten different answers, all valid.

I use Goldwave. It's simple to use and relatively inexpensive.

If you are going to be doing much with Midis, an audio editing program is almost a must.

I'd also strongly suggest Roland Virtual Sound Canvass. With it, you can change midis to suite your own taste, cut out lead instruments to produce true Karaoke tracks, and a host of other functions. You may already have something of that nature, dunno.

If you get Goldwave and get stuck I'd be glad to help where I can, and I'm sure if you get some other program, someone else will come forward and give you a hand.

Take care,

George

Question Re: beginning of song is missing

Dear Admin,

When I click "about" KHP, it says 3.100 as the version.
I have also noticed that it does not recognize my Plextor 48/24/48A as a karaoke drive. Is there an update that will correct that?
Thanks

Version 3.100 is rather old... released June 26, 2002.

Version 4.008 and the latest 4.103 are far superior, and allow adjusting your lyrics sync after placement. Click here to read the upgrades.

I would suggest you upgrade. Click here for how to upgrade.

KHP doesn't interface to CDR drives at all. It only uses files on the hard drive. Thus your statment about it not reading your Plextor 48x doesn't make sense. It appears you are confusing Microstudio (which does use CDR drives) with KHP.
