Re: Need some help with dual displays

The little wndow in the upper left hand corner is the KJ's viewing screen and is NOT re-sizeable.

The re-sizable one is the singer's screen. It may be appering over the KJ's screen, but can be moved, re-sized, or drug off the screen to the right. Once you have another monitor, or tv hooked up and are in proper "Extended Desktop" mode, it can be locked into place and will remain there until you disconnect the remote tv or monitor, at which time it will show up again on the main p.c. monitor.

Hope this helps,

George

Re: Need some help with dual displays

George is right. Only thing I can add is when you double click the playing Singer's Display, if it is in full screen mode, it will shrink to a resizeable, moveable window. You can resize it to whatever you want. Some users reduce it to cover the top or bottom half of the display, with an advertisement above or below it. When the song stops playing, the Singer's Display will disappear until the next song starts playing.

Re: Need some help with dual displays

Well it appears I should have two windows present on my Labtop. One in the uper left corner and one resizeable one which is free floating. Well, that is what my problem is. I don't have the second resizeable window. I do get the display on the tv monitor but not on the labtop. I just have the little one up in the left corner of the program window.
I need some help resolving this issue. I have tried rebooting with the tv on but that does not help.
Thanks, Bob

Re: Need some help with dual displays

There is only one re-sizable window, so it sounds like everything is as it should be, a small fixed window for the KJ and the remote re-sizable display for the singer, which you say is working..

Re: Need some help with dual displays

Maybe, just maybe the resizable window is fully minimized. Mouse over each corner of the small window you see look for a double ended arrow.and pull the window open. Or look for a tiny square somewhere in that view for one
By the way I tried minimizing the window as small as I can get it. It is very hard to grab again, or even see if you didn't know where it was.

Re: Need some help with dual displays

Your not getting it, I only have the small upper left corner window. The tv monitor displays the song correctly, but no second window on PC. If I turn off "extend desktop to second monitor" I get the second window on PC but nothing to the TV.
Thanks again
Bob

Can't put it any plainer. There is no second window on the pc. when you have a remote tv/monitor hooked up, only when there is no remote tv/monitor. Everything you describe is exactly as it should be.
