Danny,Thanks for the tip. I don't carry it out at all. I belong to a small Karaoke club and we take turns at going to each others homes for some singing and R&R. The first thing I did when I got my burner and Microstudio was make a back up of all my Karaoke cd's. Those I take with me when I go to their homes and play on their equipment, which we all have in one form or another. My master discs never leave the house. I don't believe the JVC bit is a universal thing. Perhaps the particular model I had, and maybe in a combination with some of the excellent points Doug pointed out, and KHP. I cannot rule out incompatability between the JVC and KHP since the KHP produced cd's played just fine on my old all in one Ventura. I'd been using the same combination of component equipment for over two years, and had never a minute's difficulty until I introduced KHP into the equation. I still think that KHP is the best thing since chocolate ice cream, and wouldn't trade it for anything. I just got caught up in a situation. Anyway, the Sony appears to have solved the problem, at least for the moment.
Thanks again,
George
