As you probably know by now, MTU sells good Plextor drive & they test each one they ship but if you do buy from a retail store which is your own right, I would just suggest you ask the store to write down on the invoice a 10 days exchange if you can't get cdg to work properly!

I bought a burner from MTU & I'm very pleased with it but I also bought many more at a GOOD retail store and I never had one drive that couldn't work properly with cdg's.

To answer your question, PLEXTOR is the only good choice!!
