Unhappy External Plextor Drive

When inserting a disc in the external Plextor drive to play a track it loads up Windows Media player. This is on the MTU laptop. We have disabled the auto insert and every thing we can think of.
Does anyone know how to correct this proplem?

Cool Plextor Drive

Can't quite remember how we got it done. Went to the Plextor drive proprites and something to do with setting it to default.

Here is how to change it under XP.

1) Double click on My Computer on your Desktop.
2) Right click on Each of your CD drives.
3) Left click Properties.
4) Left click the AutoPlay Tab.

Here you can change what it does when you place a disk in the drive.
