Drivers...

The new Micro 2.517 I believe will only work with the Plextor brand.
An older version of Micro is needed like the 2.4 to work with your Yamaha.
I suggest you try to obtain that version from MTU but keep in mind that you will probably need to disable the DMA to have a nice graphic with the MTU software.

regards

Thumbs down micro studio 25.17

I HAVE A YAMAHA 4416 AND A PLEXTOR PREMIUM. I DOWNLOADED 2517. IT LOADED BUT IT DID NOT RECOGNIZE MY RECORDERS THIS IS THE UMTEEN TIME I LOADED THE PROGRAM FROM MTU AND WITH THE SAME RESULTS. I HAVE NEVER HAD SO MUCH TROUBLE WITH MTU IN THE PAST AS I AM HAVING NOW. I HAVE GOLDENHAWK AND IT RCOGNIZES MY RECORDERS. I REALIZE THE YAMAHA WITH THE NEW PROGRAM WON'T RECORD KARAOKE BUT WHY AM I HAVING THIS PROBLEM WHERE THE PROGRAM WON'T ATLEAST READ MY PLEXTOR.

Great,

...and Louis, keep your DMA enabled. MTU recommends it.
