Playlist Problem
I've used Hoster a few times now at gigs but have noticed when adding singers and tracks to playlist that tracks I'd previously added have disappeared!
At first I thought I must have forgotten to add them but it has happened at least once now at each gig, resulting with angry punters giving off because they haven't been called for there song! Please help ![]() |

![]() The only time I have seen this happen was when a DJ was trying to delete a selection in the pop up window (which is usually left open). Focus is set where you last click the mouse. He kept hitting delete & each time it deleted a singer & song instead of what he was trying to delete. He needed to click back into the pop up window before he could delete what he was trying to delete. It was several minutes later before he realized the songs were missing, but, we figured out that this is what happened.
I hope this makes sense...Wayne |

Cheers Wayne,
I'll keep an eye on that and see if thats what I've been doing. I'm out tonight again so I'll monitor it then. Thanks. |

Ive also had singers names move to another song on the playlist. Now that one's really a pain.

PlayList
Yes, I have experienced this "changing of names." I think it only happens when you use the "Delete" key in conjunction with "Editing."
For instance: I type in a Singer's name and add the song to the Playlist only to realize I misspelled their name by, usually, adding a few characters I do not need (i.e. JOHN is spelled JOGHN). Then, I "Click" in the "Name" field to correct the spelling. I highlight the part I want to correct (in this case I would delete the "G"). If I use the "Delete" key the song gets REMOVED from the Playlist. Now, if I am correcting the LAST song in the Playlist, and, I use the DELETE key, not only does the LAST song get deleted, but also the song above it gets the Singer's name of the song just deleted. This doesn't, necessarily, happen on the LAST song in the Playlist. Moral of the story...I do not use the DELETE key to EDIT...only to Delete a song from the Playlist. When I started doing this, I never had the problem again of a Singer's name switching positions and/or songs being Deleted unintentionally. Hope this helps, Norm |
