Except for Wayne's Post, aren't we off topic?

Wayne, you should be able to change the IRQ... also, I would look at some of the suggestions I made to get rid of all the unnecessary fluff in windows Xp.

is it possible that you have too many things on the same irq and are trying to access it at the same time? Is it possible that you have a sound (in system sounds) activated that is causing ticking. We recently had a problem with the wife's computer and she had all kinds of weird sounds coming up for diffrent things and they were using so much procesor time the sound card was going nuts.

Single quote problem

quote
Please note... when you are importing tracks where you enter the Song name and Artist names, please DO NOT ever use the " (double quote) character. We have to use that to delineate a ' (single quote) character, and when a " is encountered, it will lock up the system.

Using quotes in sql is simple so long as U know where U is is at with it

Sample

where (((ArtistName)Like '*Nat*')) AND (((ArtistName)Like '*"King"*')) And (((ArtistName)Like '*Cole*'))

Just watching
