This is MTU’s answer from FAQ:
http://blog.mtu.com/uncategorized/vi...dmi-port-to-tv. I personally disable the HDMI sound out. Then those settings cant get overwritten. Right click on the speaker icon on task bar and select sounds, select the playback tab then right click on the HDMI output. From the dropdown menu select Disable then Apply and OK. You may need to have the HDMI cable connected while doing this. This only stops the audio sound does not affect the picture signal. Hope that Helps.
