I have indeed done all that you have listed... but still it does not work...

The ribbon cable is a full 40 pin connector, regards the Auto Detect... Imeant auto detect for the CD-RW Drives on boot up...

As MTU Support states.. I will try and contact Sony!

Maybe it's something to do with the settings in BIOS...

I'll see what happens....

Bloody shame that the Sony CRX220A1 does not support CD+G... It's a bloody fast drive 52X/24X/52X
