Re: video hoster

First copy your Hoster data folder to a spare drive or usb stick.

Where you find the Hoster folder depends on your version of Hoster and Windows version.

5.09 onwards
The actual paths are:
C:\MTU\Hoster Folder under Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8 to the new location at C:\ProgramData\mtu.com\Hoster. Under Windows Xp it is MOVED to c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\mtu.com\Hoster

But on most computers the Programs data folder is hidden so you would find it easier from the tools menu.
From the Tools menu/Hoster data folder this opens the data folder but you need to go up one level in the tree to see the folder these files are in and save the whole Hoster folder.

Versions before 5.09 it should be in your C\MTU folder in that you should see your Hoster folder.

Once you've saved this folder you can uninstall Hoster but you must be online so that it registers as un-installed.
One word of warning before un-installing if your version is earlier than 3321a you need to make sure you have the original Hosterxxxsetup.exe file or you wont be able to re-install as they are no longer available to download.

If all the above is OK install Hoster on your new computer but before starting it up Paste the copied Hoster folder over the new Hoster Folder.
Again if you have version 5.09 or 10 you can start hoster open the hoster folder from the Tools menu, shut hoster down but keep the folder open then paste the contents of your copied version into the new one overwriting the contents.
Then Hoster should start up as your old version providing all the song files follow the same paths as on your old computer.
So if you had your music on an external drive the drive letter must match, or if you had them on your c\ drive the folder they where in must match on the new computer.
The only thing you can't transfer is the Instabuttons as these are stored in the registry keys so will have to be loaded again manually.

If you can afford to wait till the next upgrade they have included in the help menu a "create a backup and restore" option that makes this much easier and includes the instabuttons. I can't tell you when this will be released though as it's still under going testing.
