JVC800 Players have problems when transparency (superimpose) is enabled

Have you tried using a different brand of blank CD, with a different dye color? Mine act a little different on different players when I use green instead of blue, for instance. Maybe JVC's decoder just doesn't understand MTU's coding, perhaps?

Seems unusual, since you also said that the other songs played fine.

Here's a "try it and see".. rip the background music from an existing CDG, and try to "re-word" it. If that one plays ok, it is most likely the music source. (wav file)
