Re: Trouble Indexing KMA files
How were the kma files created on the office computer ?
kma files names created in Hoster are named by the Disk id that was created at the time of importing them, creating kma files on one computer and then trying to import them to another computer can cause problems with Disc id's and book id's and is bad practice and not recommended. If when you imported songs you did not give them unique Disc Id's Hoster would have created one like XYZ0123 and named the kma file as this. If you had imported songs the same way on the other computer it again would have created an identical Disc ID so would not import it as it already exists on the other computer, same if the Disc Id was a proper one like AH2000-1. If it finds the Disc id identical to one already imported it won't import it, and if it finds a different Disc id but with a book id that is already imported it could mess up your existing book id order by renumbering disc's already imported. So the first thing I should do is look in the new folder and check a few of the file names, then look in the existing folder and see if you find an identical name, this shouldn't be too hard to check if you list them in alpha order. The fact that the song title for that Disc Id could be different won't be recognized by Hoster as it goes by Disc Id's.
