Re: Post Hoster 5.07 Problems Here

Last night I went back to my fade settings of fade in and out at 3 sec. and remove silence added silence at 3 sec. before and after and nothing running except Hoster. I ran a four hour show with 58 songs of which 2 were mp3 audio a 4 were mp4 video.
NO CRASHES...

Tonight I'll use the same setup, and will look for the audible beep at stop song early.

No crashes tonight, either, using the above scenario, started with three video mpg's and a couple of audio mp3's and 51 karaoke songs over a four hour period.

Actually, I don't recall ever getting my crashes at the above combination of settings, hmm?

Re: Post Hoster 5.07 Problems Here

Solved the problem of the bleep I reported in post # 149
The problem was resolved by going to control panel/sounds/Speaker properties/Enhancements & ticking the box disable all sound effects.

As I had restored my computer recently this item got missed

That's why I could never hear it.

Just wondering as you mentioned yourself at sometime, if it has any bearing on your crashing problem, although you don't hear it with the sound effects disabled it must still be triggering some action.

It all seems to come together that at the very end of a song, that something is going on as a song stops, and in some cases, for some ppl, for whatever random reason, a crash occurs. I'm hoping all this info and discussion provide clues for MTU.

7-26-12: NO CRASHES at all tonight during a five hour show
With 79 songs beginning with two audio mp3's at the beginning of th show.
I also have the default audio setting of 10 changed to 20 as of the last show.
This is the third consecutive night at about 180 total singers.
