Hoster Crashes When BA Is Running

I continue to have a problem with Hoster crashing between songs when BA is running. I ran a mock show for 8 continuous hours with BA running with no problems. I get to work, run 2 songs and the software shuts down. It happens either at the end of the song or or when starting a new song. In one night it crashed 4 times. I don't seem to have this problem when BA is NOT running. I have 50% free disc space on both my internal and external hard drives. I've gone completely through and verified the configuration is correct and updates are up to date unless I'm missing something. I'm stumped.

Re: Hoster Crashes When BA Is Running

Were you using the same list of songs in BA player for your mock show as at your live show ?
Are your BA tracks mp3, wma or a mixture ?

What are your fade in and out settings on the BA player ?
What are your fade settings for the main play list (Tools/Audio control) ?

Re: Hoster Crashes When BA Is Running

Roy,
The same list of songs was used.
They are 95% .mp3 and 5% .wma.
The settings for the main playlist is fade in is 0.0 and the fade out is set to 4.0.
I failed to mention that this has been happening since I converted to the 5.XX series. I'm currently running 5.07.

Re: Hoster Crashes When BA Is Running

Try seperating the wma into one folder and the mp3 into another, then try playing one night with just the mp3 types, if it still crashes swap to the other folder see if it is a particular type.
I can't find it from searching but I know someone had the simalar problem where they always crashed near to the end of the evening and eventually found it to be a bad file, I think it was a wma file and after converting them all to mp3 the problem stopped.

Re: Hoster Crashes When BA Is Running

I am still having an issue. I switched all my .mp3 files to a seperate folder and about 1 hour into my show, it crashed. After restarting, it worked fine for the rest of the night.
