Does Hoster operate with Windows/XP ? Would I be able to connect your PC to my speakers and amplifier ? How ? What are the specs for your Hoster laptop ? If I do not purchase your laptop will I receive problems on my Dell 8200 with Hoster software ?

Hoster requires either Windows 2000 or XP. We only recommend using XP Pro, because it has true support for dual monitors. Your Dell 8200 should be ok, as long as it has either the NVIDIA or ATI Video chip in it. Download and try the demo of Hoster on it to make sure. Since I already have Plexwriter 40/12/40U along with Microstudio 2.315 would I be eliminating some redundancy if I purchase the Laptop-2 PC rather than the Pro Laptop ? Must my Plexwriter be "retired" if I purchase the Pro laptop ?

Your Plextor drive would work fine with any of our Laptops, they both have the USB 2.0 built in them. You could just use your current Plextor drive, if you wanted. You wouldn't need to get the internal Laptop CD-R from us that is custom to do Karoake.
