windows 2000 conflicts with microstudio

Can you tell me when you are getting this crash? Is this the Windows Blue screen when you are trying to open Microstudio?

If so then please go to this post and do the information under Solution #1. If you have the wrong version of the ASPI driver or another manufacturers driver it can do this. Also, you may want to check and update your DirectX this must be version 8.1 or higher. Here is the link on how to check to find out and how to download the upgrade: http://forum.mtu.com/showthread.php?threadid=772

You then also may have to update your Video card drivers to make sure that they support DirectX 8.1 or greater. You will need to go the the video card manuafacturers website for this.
