Microstudio does not install

Dale,
Under C:\Program Files\Micro Technology, I only have Hoster and Keyrite. I have Windows XP. I downloaded from MTU and tried to install, but the same thing happens. It stops about two thirds of the way through the install and then a box comes up saying... Setup.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close, we are sorry for any inconvenience. Do you know of any other programs out there that I could use in place of Microstudio?

Is this after the program sent your information to MTU?

Ernie do you really think I would recommend another program over Microstudio or that MTU would let me do that? No there are no programs that can replace Microstudio.

And there are no karaoke software companies that can replace mtu.......

This comes up while it's transmitting to MTU. As far as another program.... It would kill me not to be able to use Microstudio. I think it's an awesome program. BUT!!, if I can't install it, then I'm going to have to replace it. I just don't know what to do to get it installed.

Ernie, are you able to install any kind of programs besides Microstuido, and did you just re-install xp ? ( fresh re-install )

It sounds to me like it isn't transmitting or the information you are transmitting is wrong. Make sure MTU.com is listed in the exceptions for the Firewall. It should be since you already have Hoster and Keyrite installed. Go to the Control panel and click on Firewall then go to the Exceptions tab.

Still couldn't install. Here is what I get when I open the error alert.
