Gentlemen, when you "clone" a drive it creates an exact duplicate of the original drive down to the exact size. It does not have anything to do with Bios or the hard drive manufacturer.
Walt, first if you want to upgrade your Bios you should always go through your computer mfg and not through the company making the Bios. However I don't think this will help.
