Re: How To Correct 2nd monitor problems

Thanks to all you folks for your patience and suggestions. I truly appreciate all of you from the bottom of my heart. Even tho I did computer work for a living for years, this is such a new concept for me that I am a bit overwhelmed.

We did the hookup with the yellow cables to our big screen tv in the living room and got the black and white screen with that also, so I'm thinking that it might just be that dang converter box. I bought it online from Novapc. The other thing that happened when we hooked up the older small tv is that the picture rolled rapidly. Hubby adjusted the vertical hold and stopped it.... then when we hooked up the big tv the same rolling occurred. We didn't want to pull the tv out of its cubby to adjust it but I'm sure we could have stopped the rolling with adjustment. that also tells me that it is probably the coverter box !!!???#$@##$@.

The horizontal roll is usually a weak signal problem, I would think it is your converter box or the VGA lead from the computer to the box If you have a spare VGA lead try that first.

Roy.
