Hoster Shutting Down - Stopped Working: Upgrade DirectX and WMP

Update on our status... we have now spent close to 3 days working on upgrading our Microsoft DevStudio!!!

It is incredible that Microsoft doesn't have a simple list of files (with links to them) that are needed to upgrade. THREE days and still not able to compile yet.

We are MSDN (MS Developers Network) members,and have posted a request to Microsoft's developers to answer. That was on Thursday, and no answer yet.

We make a little progress every day, so eventually we will get it done, or that's what this optimist wants to believe.

I did a show on Sunday night it was 5 hours long. Hoster never shut dow once. Now this makes two shows no shut downs, then one show with shut downs, then the next show no shut downs. Who knows, and I haven't done anything any different. Oh well, at least it is still doing it at the end of the song not during so no one knows but me.

Before I started my show Thursday night (6/17) I ran BA for over an hour without it stopping.

I turned BA off when I started the show and Hoster did not stop at all during the show (~4 1/2 hours).

MTU is working on further fixes for this. Hopefully it won't be long.

Download Hoster 4.22 and install it.

ALso, you can read the changes here.

I think this may fix all your problems. We found real problems that have been eluding us for years... now fixed.

well, i broke one of my rules, i upgraded a day before my show, just wanted to see the difference or the bug fixes, ,i upgraded to 4.22 and added tracks (15 ) on the playlist and set it to auto/man...1st song started to get hic-cups, same with 2nd song, 3rd song it started to rapidly stutter real bad. had to removed v4.22..and re-installed v.4.20

Have you done the latest updates? 4.22Beta has been working perfectly, so it shouldn't make any difference. However, 4.22 does have some new requirements.
