Re: Hoster Shutting Down - Stopped Working
I have sent an email to MTU support to look into this. He may want to contact you each and connect to your computer to see if he can see anything that is causing this.

Re: Hoster Shutting Down - Stopped Working
I start out with BA enabled and never turn it off all night. I am only playing mp3 music (no video involved).
I only use a singers monitor. I do not hook up to any other TV's or monitors in the bar. I do not like for the audience to be looking at anything except the singer. I don't even like singing at places that have more than one TV operating (but I digress). ![]() If it will help in solving this problem, I will do my show next week without BA all night, just to see what happens. However, Susan said it happens to her without BA running. ![]() I'm open to suggestions and willing to do whatever it takes to resolve this problem... ![]() KOD Dell Inspiron 1545, Pentium Dual Core, T4400 @2.2GHz, 4GB RAM, Windows 7 Home Premium W/Hoster 4.20 Sound, Video & Games Controllers - IDT High Definition Audio CODEC - Integrated Intel x4500 MHD Media Accelerator Graphics |

Re: Hoster Shutting Down - Stopped Working
just a suggestion, when i encounter a problem during a show, i usually do a mock up show the day after and see what the problem was, it's better to do a mock up show when you're at home, that way there is no destruction, i kinda run Hoster a couple of hours, to see if the problem occurs again, and also you might want to alt, control delete to see if there is another program running in the background that might be causing the problem...

Re: Hoster Shutting Down - Stopped Working
alt ctrl del Task manager, right click hoster set priority high. Set your media player normal.
Go to MTUs suggestions for setting it up, also go to Blackviper.com and turn off services everything you can possibly turn off. Though they don't make much difference, I go through my shows PCs and get rid of all the stuff not needed. Such as student 2007 ect all prgs that have nothing to do with hosting a show KJ or DJ lot of the photo editing stuff ect. My first thing is to do a PC search for .jpg, .bmp, .gif lot of crap and you have to sort it out. Who needs samples on their rig? You don't need ten ways to get to the net. If it is on your rig and you don't use it, ask why? Above all go online and update your system at least monthly.

Re: Hoster Shutting Down - Stopped Working
This past Thursday night (5/20) Hoster stopping working twice. Once during playing BA before the start of the show, then again during the show.
I turned the BA off when I started the show and it remained off the rest of the night to see if it was the problem! Doesn't look like it though... ![]() Again, it stopped working in between songs, so the audience never knew the difference. Guess maybe I've just got to learn to live with it! Re: Hoster Shutting Down - Stopped Working
We are working on this. I have just been able to duplicate this today in the office, so we will be having the programmer take a look at it this week.

Re: Hoster Shutting Down - Stopped Working
I'm having and have been having the same problem for some time now. Normally it's after the song finishes except for last night, it stopped during the song. First and only time. I'm running a Dell Experion 1545 and have well over 50% C drive available. It's not a big problem, just frustrating.
