Thanks for your help. As you can tell I'm a work in progress. I've learned so much just reading these forums. I'm going to do a little more research on the hard drives. Hopefully I'll have everything I need next week and let the cloning begin!

billyo- I wanted to let you know I got my new external hdd and my acronis program. Everything went great. Very easy and I went back in to read the external to make sure I did it correctly and everything was there. Thanks for your help
