Error: Unable to read AUDIO sectors....HELP

I am running Win 98SE
182 RAM
ProSavage Display Adapter
Microstudio 2.303
DirectX 8.1

I was having problems with my display adadpter, it wouldn't show the words when I tried playing a CDG, so I went to HP and downloaded the latest driver and installed it. Now it will go into the lyrics screen when I push play but all I get is a black screen and I have to reboot to get out of it....any suggestions?

And also when I try to put the CDG on my hard drive I get the following message:

Error: unable to read AUDIO sectors 0 to 25 on device 0:10
Illegal Command Request (04h, 00h, 02h, 05h, 24h, 00h)


Any ideas as to what the heck that is? I am lost and need help!
