I have duplicated it and the error message was something like instruction at 0x467321 (not the exact number) referenced memory at 0x0000000. Is this what you are getting?
No MTU doesn't update every day but there are updates that Microsoft sneeks out on us on occasion (bi-weekly) that may effect Hoster. Hoster uses both Media Player and Internet Explorer functions. MTU does watch along with the beta testers to make sure that any updates that come out don't effect the operation of Hoster but especially updates to those two programs.
I am going to report this "bug" on to MTU as they are currently working on a beta for Hoster. Hopefully a quick fix can get into it for this.
The first time I got a Runtime C error. The next time when I was testing to see if I could duplicate it, I got just the Hoster has a problem and must shut down error. I checked the event viewer as Sam said and all I found at the time of the errors was a Hoster application error.
