WMV files not playing on instabutton properly

When I load a small wmv file onto an instabutton,
it does not play at all

in single screen mode, running xp sp3. However, if I play a video file from the playlist first, then I can get an wmv instabutton to work after that initialization effect from the playlist video.

Weird.
