Hey George,
I was told by the techs at Compaq not to install any downloads from MicroSoft at this time!! It seems there are more bugs in the patches than the original XP??!! I also have heard that Adaptec/Roxio programs are more problematic than others. MTU's software works very well as does Goldenhawk's.....Also, there doesnt seem to be any conflicts there. I did get the 5.3.1 upgrade to Easy Cd Creator and will try Spin Doc tonight!! Thanks, Jack
