Understanding zip file problems?

If zip files are imported and converted to kma files, then why does Hoster say it is having trouble reading zip files? It's reading the kma files, isn't it???

So, what is best -
Use MicroStudio to convert the zip files to bin or kma & re-import into Hoster,
-OR-
If I upgrade to 3.321 (from 3.317), will Hoster be able to read all the converted zip files that it is having trouble reading now?

I didn't have this problem with 3.316 either, but Hoster was on my old XP.
I have 3.317 installed on my new Vista laptop.
