I agree with you that Pioneer had the best quality. The Pioneer CDG's use the same music as the laserdiscs.

You said: "ALL manufacturers are hit-or-miss...". I agree with this also but some manufacturers such as Sound Choice are more accurate as a percentage of their overall work. Others are just the opposite.

Although Sound Choice is not perfect they're still the best choice that we have to choose from since Pioneer quit.
