Vista: Only 4.002 will install. HELP!!

Hello,
My new laptop has Vista Home Premium. I am UNABLE to get either Microstudio 3.000 or 3.004 to successfully install.

HOWEVER, the version 4.002 (demo) WILL install with no problems. I made this test tonight. Installed perfectly.

I am getting the famed "Failed to load DLL: _ismtu" error when attempting to install either 3.000 or 3.004.

I have scoured this forum and tried all the fixes I can find: removing Installshield directories, installing ALL Windows updates, etc. with no change.

PLEASE HELP GUYS!!!
