Operating Instructions for Dummys

MTU DISC COPY INSTRUCTIONS

(After hardware installation)

1. Power on computer

2. Power on CD+G Drive

3. Place CD to be copied in tray

4. Cancel pop-up, click Microstudio icon on desktop

5. Click “Import Tracks”

6. Make sure CD + G drive is selected

7. Enter a disk ID where prompted (usually an identifier of source CD)*

8. Click “Read Disk”

9. Click as many tracks as you wish to copy (hold down Control key to select multiple)

10. Click “Import Selected Tracks” and wait for them to be imported

11. Click “Close” and remove source CD

12. Right Click on each new song, hit “rename,” and insert song name*

* NOTE: Use no punctuation marks throughout!!!!

13. Drag songs to Play List on right hand side of screen

14. Select songs to be copied on blank CD by holding Control key

15. Load blank CD and click “Add to Write List – a bell sound will occur

16. Click “Write Disk” on top masthead

17. Select proper disk length in minutes and make sure two minute gap is on

18. Click “Write CD” and wait for completion

NOTE: Highlight all songs and click “Delete” on Write Disk screen
