KHP and WDM vs VxD Drivers for Sound Cards

I have a new Turtle Beach "Santa Cruz" sound card and it came with VxD drivers. Has been working perfectly with KHP. Today at their Website they are offering Updated Drivers that are WDM.

They say they are more compatible with Direct X, 8.1.

Would like to know what MTU says......before I install them!
