Ver: 4.001, Sound Cards with Vista

Can anyone give me information on any specific sound cards that work with Microstudio 4.001 and Vista Ultimate? I'm just about ready to give up. I'm runing a new (less than 3 months old) Gateway GM5424 computer with a Sigma Tel Audio card. I would have no problem changing to a compatable sound card, IF, I knew it would work. Thanks
