.mix file

Can any of you guys tell me anything about the encoding of the .MIX file?

I would like to be able to read data from the .MIX file since it has all of the timing information.

If I could even figure out the exact file encoding of the .MIX file, I would be able to extract this information, I think. Clearly, the .MIX file has all of the information that says "highlight the word "HELLO" starting at 0:01:01.1 and ending at 0:01:10.5". I would like to be able to extract this information.

Being able to do this is going to be pivotal on our decision to continue to use this unique software.

I'm pretty sure the file is encoded in ANSI, but I'm having a hard time parsing the data out. Can anyone help?
