Run Chkdsk on the drive. The CRC is how the processor verifies the data received from the drive is correct. If the code doesn't match the data then you get an error. Chkdsk will determine if the sector the data is in is faulty and move the data if it is. Sometimes all data can be recovered sometimes not.

If this is happening frequently your hard drive may be dying and need to be replaced.
