Why does Hoster assign Disc ID as XYZ.....

Hi, I'm trying to import mp3g files off my hard drive. Everything goes fine until I click on "add files" in the final window before it actually imports the songs into Hoster. Whatever I put into the Disc Id box, (next to the Brand box,) gets changed to XYZ....
For example, I select "Sunfly" in the "Brand" dropdown box, and I type "SF001" into the disc Id box (there are no drop down choices in here, unlike when importing from discs) I select "next" for the Book Id root, and it gives me, say, 431.
As soon as I press "add files", the Brand remains as Sunfly, but the disc Id changes to XYZ0431, and greys out.
Any reason?
Also, not all of my mp3g files are named correctly, so can I use the Hoster database to fill in the names, tracks etc automatically, like when importing from discs?
