Unable to delete songs

I'm cleaning up my hard drive and deleting some songs that I don't need or want. I'm using Tools / Edit Songs to search for the song. I then highlight the song and select delete. Occassionally I get an error message indicating that it is unable to delete song - status=32.
Does anyone know what this means or how I can delete these songs from my hard drive?
