One Hoster Sticky, 7 deleted posts

I am more than pleased that the Administration has taken up George on his suggestion to make a sticky, http://forum.mtu.com/showthread.php?t=5685 of a post that solved my question in such a very clear and understanding way. But a little sad that the administration has deleted 7 posts in the thread leading up to the answer. It was my confusion, or mis-understanding of what I was doing in these deleted posts that led up to this unique answer I think, that made the answer so important and worthy of the sticker.
Why in heavens name would you delete these posts? There was no arguments, flairs, or any bad remarks about MTU or the program. Just asking for advice in a friendly way.
If you want to improve your image, the thread did just that. I showed that there are persons in this forum that can crack even the thickest of skulls like mine. It seems that somehow you went delete happy, almost making the sticky meaningless in showing what led up to making it such an exceptional answer. Unless you thought keeping the answer for others to see was more important. If so, why didn't you delete all posts in that thread completely except that one. My post shows that the administration has even edited it for some reason.

I wonder what entered the minds of those who seen the notices, but not the actual post "This post was deleted by the admin". One post suggested that I wait for nreel to answer. Can we have them back? Or can you erase all evidence of any deletions. the thread will look better for me and maybe you too.
