USB drives-standard or portable
I have lost 2 usb drives recently. One due to overheating (apparently leaving it on too long) and another due to my not protecting it enough from moving while in my rack system. I did not realize they were as fragile as they are-we learn by doing right?
Anyway, the portable drives are only 5200 rpm vs the 7200 rpm of the standard drives. Would this be a major impact on the search and load feature as I use the usb as my primary source-have no kma's on my laptop at all. Western Digital Passport 80GB Portable USB Drive 5400 RPM 2.5" 2mb Buffer Thanks for any advice.
