I have a question on this product

If I make a karaoke file using this program and vogone from a regualr cd I have at home is that now my work? I assume its legal? How do I show proof of this to a agent from BIM or whomever may check on me? Do I have to own the origional cd or can I barrow a stack of my firends cd's workem into karaoke files and then they are mine and give my friend his back? How doe sthis work?

Are the files made as good as sweet georgia brown or chartbuster or any other quality disk?
