Hoster® 2.216

Hello everyone,

I have been using a KJ host program that supports mp3+g format for about 3 years now....and i hate the thought of having to import all of my cdg's agian for Hoster®. I bought Hoster® because of the talk of the support of mp3+g. over the last few months (Feb-Oct) I have heard alot of talk about it and seen a few things that have been anoying me.

1. I read the forums and read nothing but two-faced statements about v2.216 supporting mp3+g. WILL IT OR NOT?

2. I have called MTU and talked to sales & support people about this issue, and agian no direct answer to the question. WILL IT OR NOT??

3. I have seen release dates being changed from Sep. 30th to Oct. 15 2004 for v2.216 because of added features, and agian was told "I think it will support importing of mp3+g's". WILL IT OR NOT???

I understand that this will be the last release for v.2, and that version 3 is in devlopment. and alot of features of v2.XX will be in a seprate program, and we will have to own the additional programs to use the features. WILL ver 3 support mp3+g importing?

As a professional DJ/KJ, I have very limited time to devote to importing all 2100+ cdg disks into hoster. I have only imported 104 cdg disks in 5 months. I feel that if hoster supported this feature, it would save alot of time for me because i could let the computer do the work for me.

I realy hope that it IS part of the new v2.216. because i am starting to feel like i have wasted alot of time waiting for nothing.

I still have plans on using hoster for my shows but at the rate of importing time for me it will be 2006 befor i have all of my cdgs installed, and will own alot more by then.

when i started using mp3+g's a few years ago i thought it was the best thing in the world, and realy turned me on to the karaoke part of DJing at that time i had very few cdgs to import so it realy was not that big of a
deal ....NOW....that is clearly not the case.

CAN SOMEONE THAT KNOWS, TELL ME, IF HOSTER v2.216 WILL SUPPORT IMPORTING MP3G'S? THANKS
