bass and mono files

Hi there,

I recently purchased Vogone and it is truly the best out there (and a lot easier on the wallet). I work with vocal reduction/elimination programs a lot for private purposes and am always looking for ways to create the best possible trax. This one is so good I've remade karaoke trax to some songs I'd previously created using other programs.

I have an unusual question - I noticed that for some reason, with some songs, you lose the bass if you create the output file in stereo. If I create it as a stereo monaural file then I get the bass back, usually without affecting the vocals. I tried adjusting the High and Low, and while I was able to get back some of the bass, I got more vocal as well. It was only by creating the stereo monaural file that I got back much more, giving the karaoke track the "balance" it needed. And amazingly the vocal did not increase. Why is that?

Thanx for enlightening a newbie.
