Plextor PX-W5224A Signaling After Every Track

I am a neubie at this.
My new Plextor PX-W5224A makes an audible tone (like an British Ambulance) after importing every single track.

It's driving my wife crazy.

I've poked around to see if it is an option I can turn off, but can't find the "Turn this annoying tone off" button anywhere.

Would appreciate any help anyone can offer..
