Screen Goes Black After Song Ends

in a recent show my display would go black after each song ended and I needed to double click on the screen to get hoster display to become visible again. Once the song starts the display will remain visible until a song ends and then go black again.

I'm sure it is some sort of setting in windows.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

I'm running windows XP Home
