Yes. I recommend that everyone use DirectX 8.0 since it is available. You can download it from: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/r...eleaseID=27741

This may or may not fix that problem. We just released a new beta test version, that has more error checking in the Play tab. This new version should help with this problem.
