Microstudio not finding Plexxtor 52/32/52 cd writer for karaoke

I have just installed the Plexor 52/32/52 premium cd rewriter and am having problems. Everything installed properly, but when I go to Microstudio and hit the "detect drives" it will find it, but it still says No to Karaoke. I have tried updating the ACPI files and still cannot get it to recognize it. Any ideas?
